Enhancements

• General
  • Previews now include a "Select All" right-click option to enable quickly selecting and copying the preview data (such as contact info).
  • When deleting a value in a dropdown field, the system will try to automatically select the default value (which is frequently "None"). Pressing delete a second time will clear the field completely. This is intended to make it faster to change a dropdown to the "None" entry.
  • A new right-click "Print Receipt" option is available on the pages that show posting lists (Member dues/donations, Group dues, Activity income/expense) to quickly print a receipt without editing the record and changing the Print on Save setting.
• Activities
  • A new right-click option on the Attendance page of the Activity window enables you to open the member record.
  • When adding a new record on the Attendance tab of the activity window, the search button now allows the selection of multiple records. When this is done, all changes to the rest of the new "record" will be duplicated on all selected attendees, and saved as individual attendees. When editing an existing record, the search only allows the selection of a single record. i.e., one attendee cannot be edited into multiple attendees.
• Members
  • A new Image Editor tool is accessible via a button below the Member or Friend/Family photo. This tool enables you to resize photos as needed.
  • A new "Check for Duplicates" membership preference controls whether the system will check for potential duplicate members based on first and last name prior to the initial save and display possible matches.
• Groups
  • A new right-click option on the Membership page of the Group window enables you to open the member record.
• Email
  • A new right-click option on the Email Queue message list allows starting a new email using the recipients of selected messages. (A similar right-click option on the queue list does the same thing for all unsent recipients for messages in that queue.)
• Reports
  • A new "Attendance by Activity" report lists attendees and guests under the appropriate activity.

Problems/Issues Fixed

• An error occurs when creating a custom field as a checkbox if you try to make it optional.
• An error occurs when saving a document with a name longer than 30 characters (the system did not enforce the length maximum).
• A duplicate key error occurs when attempting to create a user with a name that already exists.
• The Item Name is not available for use on User Reports.
• When installing, an incorrect warning about a remote server is sometimes displayed.
• The Fields list on Email and Document windows does not show private fields using their custom label, rather they show as "Private 01", etc.
• The Dues Account Statement report should not include postings marked as donations.
• When creating a custom field as a checkbox, the default was not automatically set even though it appeared to be set to No. You had to manually toggle it to save "No".
• An error occurs when adding the Category Name field to a membership list view.
• The Donation receipt report should not include the End Date.
• Adding a Stored Comment or Date Stamp to a comment field could exceed the field maximum length and cause an error.
• The balance on the Account Statement reports is not calculating correctly when the report is run for multiple members. (5.1.2.2)
• Photos saved as linked files are not displaying correctly. (5.1.2.3)
• The upgrade can incorrectly change the File & Photo Storage option from File System to Database. This requireds manually updating the preference setting before stored photos will display. (5.1.2.3)
• When the Add Postings window opens, a Posting Type appears to be pre-selected, but the system doesn't know about it. If you post dues without explicitly choosing a posting type, a system error occurs. (5.1.2.3)
• A system error can occur when adding the first To Do item to a new Group record. (5.1.2.3)
• Attempting to fix problem with Email window not opening for some users. (5.1.2.4)
• An error occurs when creating the first deposit in the system. Once a deposit has been created, the error no longer occurs. (5.1.2.5)
• Finally... fixed issue where the Email window would not open for some users. (5.1.2.6)
• Fixed a couple of .dlls not building in 64 bit mode consistently. (5.1.2.6)
• An error occurs trying to log in with a username that includes an apostrophe. (5.1.2.7)
